Garlic Brushetta

Serves 12

1 long Italian loaf
2 tomatoes (seeded and chopped)
1 clove of crushed garlic
1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
8 fresh basil leaves (optional)
black pepper - to taste


12 slices (1/2 inch) from long loaf of Italian bread (if vegan use vegan bread).

Topping: Mix all ingredients together. Divide evenly over each slice of bread. Toast until crisp and serve with a salad garnish.

Serves: 12
