FORUM TOPIC: TVP (textured vegetable Protein)

Sorry newbie....
I tried meat alternatives at a Buddhist Chinese restaurant that served TVP (textured vegetable Protein)in a variety of sauces.
For a long time I thought is was tofu but have now discovered its TVP.
I found TVP only as granules, chunks and lumps but no flakes.
Has anyone else seen this?
