H1N1 Vaccine not vegetarian
Has anyone in Europe been offered the package leaflet for the H1N1 Vaccine?
We are supposed to read it before having the shot.

Of the three vaccines being offered, two contain chicken protein; the other contains vero cells (Epithelial cells from the kidney of the African green monkey)
In the USA they offer the nasal spray form, I have not checked the ingredients of that one.
Anyone wanting to avoid the mercury (thiomersal) needs to ask for the single dose vial of the Novartis vaccine as all the others contain mercury traces. |
