I have been vegetarian for 14 years, and recently decided that I wanted to be vegan. I know that dairy and eggs are not good so gave them up. I lasted 5 weeks. I was ill and someone brought me chocolates. Milk chocolates. SO I ate them.
I foudn it so hard being vegan, checking packaging, not being able to eat out easily.
I still drink soya milk (have done for two years) don't buy eggs, or cheese, but eat things with traces in (quorn, chocolate) and eat cheese when eating out as there is rarely a veggie option without.
I just feel bad as I have failed, but I found it soo hard. I have bever found being vegetarian hard, in fact it came naturally. ANyone else a failed vegan out there? |

I would ask yourself why you feel you need to be vegan after 14 years of just vegetarianism, if your hearts not in it then it won't be easy. It is an extreme lifestyle, something i have thought about but decided against.x |
