Toffee apple wedges
4 tbsp caster sugar
1 apple, peeled, cored and cut into 8 wedges
8 cocktail sticks
Heat the sugar in a small frying pan, until it caramelises and becomes runny.
Arrange the apple wedges onto a plate in a circle and place a cocktail stick into each, so that the cocktail stick faces outwards and drizzle the toffee over the apple wedges, so each is well covered but wait a couple of minutes until the toffee has cooled and then serve otherwise you will burn your mouth!
