Orange bread and butter pudding
2 orange, zest only
2 tsp ground cinnamon
2 tbsp caster sugar
4 slices of white bread, cubed
splash of cream
2 tbsp milk
Preheat the oven to 220C/Gas 7.
Place the orange zest, butter, cinnamon and sugar into a small-to-medium oven-proof frying pan and gently melt together and then add the cubed bread to the pan and heat for a few minutes, to toast.
Meanwhile, beat the eggs, cream and milk together in a bowl. Pour the mixture into the pan with the bread.
Transfer the pan to the oven and cook for 10-15 minutes or until cooked through.
Remove from the oven and tip out onto a plate.
